Alcohol Ink Masterclass

All skills levels welcome.

Join me in this pre-recorded masterclass and learn all of my techniques, tips, and tricks. I will take you step by step on the ins and outs of creating all sorts of unique alcohol ink creations. This class has everything from beginner to advanced and contains everything I know about alcohol ink!

Learn the process from beginning to end. We learn all about beginner alcohol ink skills such as color, composition, and how to use it to maximize its beauty. I help you feel confident in creating your very own fine art, alcohol ink mugs, coasters, jewelry, and more!

Alcohol Ink Functional Art

Pre-requisite: Familiarity with alcohol ink.

This course assumes you know the basics about alcohol ink. We dive right into what I call "functional art" which is the mugs, coasters, and jewelry. 

Learn everything there is to know about creating art that you can use in your home. We go through selecting the proper materials. Then I offer you many painting techniques to achieve different styles, and I teach you extensively about sealing the mugs for food safety.

Painting with Fabrics

All skill levels welcome.

Fabric art and dyeing trends have been on the rise! People love unique wearable artwork. Let me guide you from start to finish on how to create your very own wearable art from old or new clothing. I teach you all about the best materials, which paints and products to buy, various painting techniques to achieve different effects, and how to fix the paint/dye to ensure it can be washed/dried.

ABOUT ME

I am an artist working in Kelowna, BC. I am primarily known for my alcohol ink workshops but I also have taught watercolor, acrylic, fabric painting, and other mediums. I have taught over 900 students online and hundreds in-person over the course of the past three years.

I often (pre-covid) did live painting and competitive speed painting where I finished as a finalist. I've shown my work at local galleries, Art Walks, markets, and coffee shops.


WHAT CAN I OFFER YOU?

As a trained graphic designer, I have knowledge and experience in color design and composition. I've worked with many different styles, techniques, and mediums. I enjoy the art of exploration and trying new things to further my development both as an artist and a person.

I've been commissioned many paintings and sold thousands of mugs and other functional art at local markets/events. I am experienced both in creating and selling online and in-person.

I am a lifelong student and I love to pass along my knowledge to my students. My passion for teaching feeds my art, and my art discoveries fuel me to teach!
